Ba Na Hills has gradually developed into one of the most exciting tourist destinations in this economically developing region as Central Vietnam continues to receive a significant influx of domestic and foreign tourists each year. Ba Na Hill is a natural hill station as well as an opulent resort with entertainment centers, and it is situated in the Truong Son Mountains, 42 kilometers (roughly 26 miles) west of Da Nang.
Ba Na Hills, Cable Car and Golden Bridge overview
The Ba Na hill station was first established by French colonialists in the late 19th century and is frequently referred to as the Da Lat of Vietnam Center. Ba Na, which is 1500 meters above sea level and has a pleasant, temperate climate with annual average temperatures of 10–15 Celsius, was a favorite holiday destination for colonialists. Therefore, the French architecture that formerly impacted the well-known station may still be seen by visitors to Ba Na today. In addition, the Ba Na Hills, which are in the Truong Son (or Annamite) range, provide visitors with a breathtaking perspective of both the magnificent nearby mountains and the amazing East Sea.
Using the recently renovated Ba Na Cable Car is the most convenient way to reach Ba Na Hills. When visiting Ba Na Hills, visitors have a lot of options. Visitors can find calm and pay reverence at the neighboring Linh Ung Pagoda, in addition to relaxing and taking advantage of the numerous amenities at the opulent Ba Na Hills Resort. On clear days, tourists will delight in Ba Na's natural beauty and the lovely gardens. Additionally, the resort complex's amusement park is guaranteed to be a huge hit with the little ones.
The renowned Golden Bridge is Ba Na Hills' most recent and well-known attraction. Due to its majestic magnificence, this architectural work is not only well-known on Facebook and Instagram but also on major news websites, including Independent, The Guardian, Reuters (UK), AFP (France), NBC (USA), and archdaily.com. That is hardly surprising given that the Da Nang Golden Bridge is one of the world's top 10 most distinctive architectural bridges. It is not an overstatement to say that this golden bridge is a work of art that seamlessly mixes human creativity and Vietnam's stunning natural beauty. It is also a masterpiece of architecture.
What makes this Golden Bridge so alluring?
This might be a redundant question given that the answer can be seen in the lovely tourist images posted on Facebook and Instagram. The Da Nang Golden Bridge is a pedestrian bridge with a 3-meter-wide surface and wooden flooring, allowing you to dance and pose on the bridge as much as you like. The gold-plated stainless steel railing structure is what makes this bridge unique. The "high" height of the Golden Bridge gives you the impression that you are standing above the clouds, which is an incredibly wonderful sensation.
You'll experience a sense of serenity and freedom similar to that of walking on clouds as you are surrounded by stunning scenery and an endless sky. Some claim that God's hand is dragging a golden thread from the heavens, while others assert that a woman's hands are raising the bridge higher off the earth. Because someone has the audacity to construct an artificial structure in the center of a sacred area, this mossy green is a "giant" from the ground, reaching out to "smash" the bridge. And regardless of viewpoint, none can dispute the beauty of this masterpiece.
Tourists who travel to this region must view the beautiful and magnificent bridge. Don't forget to treat yourself to some fun at Fantasy Park, which was founded and inspired by two famous books by French author Jules Verne, "Journey to the Center of the Earth" and "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea." The theme park has a ton of exciting things and surprises planned, including, of course, specially designed games that will keep young children entertained and happy all day.
Along with the numerous entertainment options offered here, you should also sample the varied dining options offered at various establishments like Doumer, Kavkaz Vista, Sun Set, or La Louvre. These restaurants will sate your appetite regardless of whether you want Mexican, Vietnamese, or other cuisines. Spring is the ideal season to visit Ba Na Hills. However, it is strongly advised to check the weather before leaving, especially during the rainy season.
Visitors who want to see more of Central Vietnam can take a delightful road journey from Ba Na Hills to either the historic city of Hoi An or the culturally vibrant Da Nang. Between these three locations, there are numerous transportation options. In Da Nang and Hoi An, hotel and tour services are also accessible upon request.
