The Thanh Lanh Golf Club is a masterpiece by renowned architect Sir Nick Faldo, created for Vietnam. The natural landscape of Thanh Lanh Lake and the valley of the Tam Dao mountains surrounding it were incorporated by Nick Faadlo and his crew. Golfers can play in a variety of settings at Thanh Lanh, including parkland, a lake, a hillside, and a brief links par. The most prominent holes are found on a peninsula that faces Thanh Lanh Lake. Returning nines participate in the beauty of the location by playing both out and back. The last holes feature a stunning mountain backdrop as they travel down the lake's bank to the clubhouse.

Faldo used natural contours and streams to add intrigue to his shotmaking. Although the course can be over 7,000 yards long, five sets of tees and a wide fairway ensure that golfers of various skill levels can play it.

The Serena Valley Resort clubhouse, which overlooks Thanh Lanh's final holes, has the appearance of a middle-aged castle.
