This tour focus on discovering the beaten track adventures of Vietnam's stunning north. You will start up with the verdant karst mountainstays and serene lakes of Ba Be, stay overnight at local homestay in Pac Ngoi village. Through 8 days, you will have chance to experience the breathtaking landscape of Ha Giang and visit the magnificent Ban Gioc Waterfall that lies on the border between China and Vietnam. You will end up this trip with trekking jouney through the mountains and valleys surrounding Sapa to discover the local ethnic minorities.

Welcome to Vietnam: after long time on airplane, you will reach Vietnam – the S-shaped land, where 54 different ethnic minorities inhabited.
You will be warmly welcomed by our guide and driver at the airport and transferred to your hotel in the city center of Hanoi.

Overnight in Hanoi
Early departure and drive to Ba Be Lake (having a water area of around 500ha, spreading over 8km, considered as the biggest natural water lake in Vietnam), via Thai Nguyen and tea plantations.
On the way, stop to visit the Vietnamese Ethnic Museum, one of the largest museums dedicated to the ethnic cultures of Vietnam.
Arrive in Ba Be in the afternoon. Later, cruise upstream on the lake and the Nang River to reach the Dau Dang waterfall. Then, settle at the home-stay in the village of Pac Ngoi. Dinner will be taken at the home-stay in Pac Ngoi.

Overnight at home-stay.
This morning we will say goodbye Ba Be to take about 2,5 hours on road to visit the most beautiful water fall of Vietnam, Ban Gioc water fall. After lunch in the local restaurant, we continue visiting the the amazing Nguom Ngao Cave, where you admire many beautiful stalactites. Then back to Cao Bang town for stay overnight.

Over night in Cao Bang
After your breakfast, you will start the journey on the mountainous road from Cao Bang to Bao Lac. After arriving in the village of Bao Lac, you will venture into the valley of Meo Vac, from where you will snake through the mountains and cross the river. You will have break stop for lunch here. Then, you will drive passing the magnificent Ma Pi Leng Pass, through a gigantic maze of lime peaks, stone forests, and canyons. Your day tour will finish after reaching to Dong Van town. In here, you will climb up the pass to the French Fortress of Pu Lo which was built in 1890 and evacuated in 1945. This is the view point where you can enjoy spectacular views of the entire region.
Overnight in Dong Van
After breakfast, stroll through Dong Van (only on Sundays) and Sa Phin’s market and visit the former Royal Palace of the H’Mong (Vua Meo). Continue by road to Pho Bang Village featuring ancient multi-level houses made of clay bricks with tiled roofs. Depending on the day, there is an opportunity to visit an authentic mountain market where all kinds of products, including colorful traditional clothing are sold. In the afternoon, drive to Ha Giang. On the way, stop at Lung Tam for lunch and enjoy the visit of Lung Tam H’mong village where people still practice a traditional technique of weaving and embroidery. Then, continue to arriving at Quan Ba. Continue the trip to Bo Y Village and the fascinating karst formation of Binh Yen.
Overnight in Ha Giang.
After breakfast, depart from Ha Giang to Sapa along river. Stop on route to visit Village of Pathen group and sightseeing down valleys with minority village. You will have break for lunch on the road. You will also be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountainous area, with hills covered with palm trees.
Stay over night in Sapa
Parameter: Driving: 230 km/ 6hours
Today, aftet meeting our guide and driver then transfer to Lao Chai village, a Black Hmong ethnic minority village. You will then be able to walk from Lao Chai to Tavan village where the Giay ethnic minority hill tribe lives. Here you will be able to rest and enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by our guide in a local family.
After lunch the walk continues through a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai, a Red Dao ethnic minority village. After taking a rest nearby a waterfall to refresh, you start climbing uphill to a road where the car is ready for your journey back to Sapa
Free your time in Sapa

This morning, you will say good bye Sapa, on the way back to Hanoi, you will trek through the immense scenery to the Red Dzao village of Ta Phin. On the way, you will pass through some other small ethnic minority villages where you will discover the unique cultures of the hillside settlements. The trek will take you over stunning mountains laced with terraced rice paddies.
Lunch will be served in Lao Cai. Then heading back to Hanoi about 6pm. Tour ends.
