The Dalat at 1200 Country Club, an exceptional Asian Tour course with alpine vistas, debuted in November 2015 and was the third golf course in this highland city. It featured Bermuda 419 fairways and rough, in addition to Bent Grass aprons and greens. The Dalat at 1200 Country Club is a joint creation of Peter Rousseau and Kyi Hla Han. It is a par 73 championship course with a significant design element that effortlessly integrates with the surrounding nature. The airport's Lien Khuong location is 15 minutes away from the course. The highlands' constant temperature ranges from a cool 16 to 26 degrees Celsius, making it perfect for outdoor activities and the production of an enormous supply of fresh fruit and vegetables.
A 450-acre, naturally spring-fed lake sits in the middle of the 2,100 acres of hilly pine forest that make up The Dalat at 1200 Country Club. This is a cart-only course due to the elevation variation between holes, and the abundance of fresh water streams, bunkers positioned strategically, rice paddies, lakes, pine trees, and other natural impediments make for an exciting game experience. Each hole has been framed with additional native plants, flowers, and bushes that offer various challenges and picturesque vistas.
Even for seasoned golfers, golf carts are required on The Dalat's holes at 1200 Country Club due to the lengthy green-to-tee lengths and severe elevation changes between them.
Many golfers in Asia do not get to play on The Dalat at 1200 Country Club's bent grass aprons and greens, so be cautious. The pace of the greens will present a few surprises to the nave or overconfident short game players.
