The superb Tan Son Nhat Golf Course is a public golf course that is close to the busiest airport in Vietnam. Every hole features significant soil mounding, several water hazards, sizable bunkers, and undulating greens. positioned 4 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City's core. The 36-hole Tan Son Nhat Golf Course is located next to the airport and spans 156 hectares.
Nelson & Haworth Golf Course Architects created the Tan Son Nhat Golf Course. The use of paspalum turf on the tees, fairways, rough, and greens guarantees excellent playing conditions all year round. The most populated city in Vietnam, Tan Son Nhat, is virtually visible from every hole in this contemporary city pattern.
There are four courses at Tan Son Nhat Golf Course. Course A is located a distance from the clubhouse in a neighborhood with residences, villas, and a hotel on the property. The beginning of courses B, C, and D is the clubhouse. The par-5 holes play long and primarily into the wind, and each nine is equally difficult and well-maintained. For solid par possibilities on the par-3s, stay away from the greenside bunkers.
The clubhouse at the Tan Son Nhat Golf Course is one of the biggest in Asia and can hold up to 5,000 guests for large dinners, weddings, and other official events simultaneously, in addition to golfers. The on-site restaurant offers mouthwatering Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, and Western cuisine at incredibly affordable prices, with specialties from Korea.
The pro shop, driving range, chipping and putting facilities, locker rooms, and changing places are just a few of Tan Son Nhat Golf Course's other top-notch amenities. The Vietnam Ministry of Defense oversees the operation of Tan Son Nhat Golf Club. Although rates are cheap and golfers can still opt to stroll the fairways while caddies drive, golf carts are required and restricted to cart pathways only. Speaking of caddies, all of them are male army recruits with superb customer service attitudes but poor English proficiency.
At least once, Tan Son Nhat Golf Course should be played when playing golf in Saigon. These days, there aren't many nearby high-quality golf courses, and they won't last forever.
