Tourists can enjoy bathing in hot mineral water and wallowing in mud at the Thap Ba Hot Springs Centre in Nha Trang, which is surrounded by beautiful scenery. They also have access to health and beauty services. This location is a one-of-a-kind and gorgeous gift from Mother Nature.
Location and overview of Thap Ba Hot Springs Center
Thap Ba Hot Spring Centre, located about 4 kilometers north of Nha Trang City, spans three hectares and is surrounded by mountains, with the Cai River passing through it, providing a wonderful landscape of green trees and colorful flowers. Relaxing services available at the centre include soaking in a bathtub of warm, mineral-rich mud, swimming in a pool of mineral water, bathing under hundreds of warm water jets, or standing under a waterfall.
History of Thap Ba Hot Springs Center
In 1994, the Central Vietnam Division of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology conducted an underground boring exploration in Dac Loc Village, Vinh Phuong Commune, Nha Trang City, and discovered a source of mineral water.
The mineral water could not be canned since it was hot and salty. The drilling holes were plugged in so that the fields under cultivation would not be harmed. Unexpectedly, a mine of inorganic mineral mud appeared in 1995. During the rainy season, the fields were inundated with mud, which killed the crops. Some health-care executives and businessmen came up with the idea of using mineral water and mud for medical treatments.
Hot Springs features in Thap Ba Center
Hot mineral water with pure chloride and sodium silica is extracted from a depth of 100 meters underground. Mineral compounds in the water reach the body at 38–40 °C, providing a calming and refreshing sensation. Gout, rheumatism, and neuritis can all be helped by drinking mineral water. The mineral mud is inorganic, containing chloride sodium silica as its major component, as well as several antimicrobial dietary minerals. It's frequently used as a face mask for skin rejuvenation and acne treatment.
Accommodation and service at Thap Ba Hot Springs Center
Those seeking peace and quiet can visit the highly elegant convalescent quarter resort, which consists of 14 apartments equipped with all modern comforts and offers indoor mineral water bathing and mud soaking, as well as massage, acupuncture therapy, and beauty services.
