Chau Duc Sonadezi Golf Course (aka Sonadezi Vung Tau) was designed by Greg Norman, which is close to the popular tourist destination of Vung Tau. The golf course is located in a magnificent natural setting that is a part of an urban industrial park that spans a 2,287-hectare area with comfortable temperatures and light breezes all year round.
The Sonadezi Golf Course has generally level topography, but high and low spots that follow the length of the course from north to south offer natural obstacles that make each hole more challenging. Many holes are framed by planted trees, making play exciting and difficult. Because of its condensed, flat layout, Sonadezi is ideally suited for golf competitions of a high caliber.
Two 18-hole courses with various layouts and degrees of difficulty are part of the idea. The Resort Course is oval-shaped, covered in Paspalum grass, and bordered by huge green areas. Later in the project, the Tournament Course, which is more challenging, is planned.
A sizable clubhouse offers room and a broad view of the golf field. The on-site restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes, including foreign, Vietnamese, and golfers' favorites. The pro shop also offers golf supplies, equipment rentals, and branded mementos for out-of-town golfers. The lockers are up-to-date, spotless, and have a place to unwind after a round of golf. There are putting and chipping greens at Sonadezi.
