One of the largest golf resorts in Vietnam, BRG Kings Island Golf Resort, is a 54-hole facility on the outskirts of Hanoi that offers top-notch amenities and greens. The golf facility is located 36 kilometers from Hanoi on the Dong Mo reservoir's side. King's Island is a premium and practical option to add to any Vietnam golf package, and it's only a 45-minute drive from the city. The course is only accessible by boat, which offers a distinctively Vietnamese flair. A location of 350 ha of land and 1,500 ha of waterfront makes up the island golf complex's location.
BRG Kings Island Golf Resort involves 3 different courses, designed by 3 different famous designers:
The Lakeside Course (Robert McFarland course with scenic lakeside views) name says it all, with water coming into play on 14 holes. Many of the holes at this American golf course, which opened in 1997 and was designed by Robert McFarland, run along the banks of the nearby lakes. Two islands and a peninsula that are a part of the reservoir are used for the Lakeside Course. The artificial lake is set against beautiful views of the Ba Vi mountain range, with the Red River Valley visible in the distance. This par 72 course, measuring 6,516 yards from the tips, will test players of all skill levels and handicaps. The water surrounding the course and the gently rolling landscape are used in numerous and diverse ways on the Lakeside Course. The dwarf Bermuda grass greens have few undulations and are modest in size. The majority of fairways have tight Bermuda grass lays and are well-kept.
The Mountainview Course (parkland track that winds between sloping hills and old-growth hardwood forests) was created in 2004 by Pacific Coast Designs (PCD), an Australian company. The Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village's Mountainview has been constructed to take full advantage of the breathtaking vistas of the surrounding mountains. From the gold tees, the magnificent 18-hole course in the woods is 7,000 yards and is a par 72. Golfers will love playing on the Novotecgreens, which were imported from Australia, particularly to withstand the climate of Northern Vietnam. Your round will be enjoyable and memorable thanks to Mountainviews' beautiful surroundings and immaculate conditions.
The Kings Course (superbly designed by Jack Nicklaus) is the newest 18 at Kings Island. All 18 holes on this Jack Nicklaus-designed course, which debuted for play in 2018, have a contemporary resort-style layout. Each hole features wide fairways and complicated bunker systems. The Kings Course is the ideal option for club golfers because it is more open than both the Lakeside and Mountain View courses. The 7,310-yard layout, however, is no walkover for the more experienced players. To shoot successfully on the greens, you must make accurate shots. The 196-yard fourth and the 232-yard sixteenth are two of the greatest holes. Both are par-3 holes that require shots to heavily bunkered greens.
The clubhouse at BRG Kings Island Golf Resort has a fantastic restaurant that offers a variety of cuisines. A bar is also present, and it's a nice location to unwind after a round. The club offers a variety of sports in addition to golf, such as swimming in the club's Olympic-sized pool, sailing, and fishing on Dong Mo Lake. A couple of the on-site rooms may be rented out at particular seasons of the year. However, after their rounds at BRG Kings Island Golf Resort, the majority of golfers will opt to return to Hanoi.
